IUTAM Symposium on Rapid granular flows and turbulent particle suspensions

The conference will discuss the complementary approaches of simulation and modeling, and their validation against experiments in the areas of Rapid granular flows and turbulent particle suspensions. Topics of interest include development in particle-based simulations for increasing the flow scale and resolution, a better representation of physics at the microscopic scale for the particles and turbulence and for uncovering new phenomena.

Outreach Symposium on Molecular Simulations: Advances & Applications

The Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay is organising the Outreach Symposium on Molecular Simulations: Advances & Applications (MSAAP) at VMCC, IIT Bombay, on 2nd & 3rd June 2023. The symposium is open to all engineering and science research groups working in the area of molecular simulations. The event features invited lectures from both academicians and industry practitioners, and students' poster presentations. The key purpose of the symposium is to highlight the recent advances in the domain and encourage cross-disciplinary research.

Research Scholars' Symposium (RSS)

We invite you to participate in the 16th Research Scholars' Symposium (RSS) at VMCC, IIT Bombay, on 25th March 2023. The event is organized by the research scholars of the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay, under the auspices of the Chemical Engineering Association (ChEA), aims to foster teamwork and networking, promote collaborations, bridge the gap between academia and industry, and discuss the latest advances and developments in our field. The program includes panel discussions, oral and poster presentations, and 3-minute thesis talk.

Research Scholars' Symposium (RSS)

Welcome to Research Scholars' Symposium (RSS), presented to you by Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT-Bombay.

RSS is the event that brings together all works of research - from nanoparticles to climate change. This serves as a platform for personnel from industry and academia to collaborate and explore new horizons in different areas of research. We, the RSS team, welcome you all to join us in this endeavour.

Complex Fluids, Complex Flows and Covid-19 (CFCFC19)

Please join us online for a half-day symposium to explore how soft matter researchers are contributing to our understanding of Covid-19, and to our response to it. This symposium is being organized as a discussion meeting. Each session will have a few short talks by leading researchers from industry or academia, followed immediately by a question/answer session and brainstorming to identify research problems that will have the greatest impact on the pandemic.
