Prevention of accidents in chemical process facilities is one of the elemental objectives of risk control and management. The project will involve development of AI-based systems to inform plant managers of an imminent accident by use of appropriate risk metrics, so that the required control strategies may be implemented dynamically for averting the actual accident.
