Reactor and process modeling for plasma-catalytic methane upgradation

Methane can be selectively and sustainably converted to higher value hydrocarbons using novel non-thermal plasma - catalytic reactors. This project will involve modeling of a DBD (di-electric barrier discharge) plasma reactor, followed by integration in the overall process simulation (Aspen model). The work will involve both experiments (plasma-reactions), and computational modeling.
