Given the current interest in cleaner hydrogen generation technologies, this guided study course will perform a cost analysis of various water electrolyzer technologies for hydrogen production and develop a model to calculate the levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH) produced. This includes the Capital Expense (CapEx) of various electrolyzer technologies and the operating cost. These values will then be the input to the LCOH model to calculate the cost of hydrogen. In the Indian context, analyse conditions and various scenarios to decrease the cost of hydrogen. Final output will be to develop an excel based cost calculator to be published as an open-source tool.
