Web app and dashboard development to assist Factory Inspectors in Chemical Site Inspections


The aim of the project is to create an easy-to-use, mobile app / web interface that would assist the typical factory inspector in his day to day inspections of chemical sites. This would, for example, include the identification of chemical hazards such has highly toxic inventories or processes with high likelihood of runaway reactions and other such situations. For this, the project would access recognized databases (e.g. Brethick) and existing protocols (e.g. Stoessels Criteria, Dow / Mond indexes etc.) to make available easy screening criteria. Other elements of the project can focus on pressure relief criteria and other heuristic checklists. A major part of the project would be programming an easy-to-use app or web interface.
