R&D investment is expected to be elemental to the competitiveness and sustainability of the Indian Chemical industry in the forthcoming decades both for the MSMEs and large-scale Industries. The project will involve and appraisal of the current status of R&D investment in the industry, and the strategies needed to focus it so as to enhance its efficacy. This work will extend and consolidate the prior work carried out in a SLP.
