Oral osmotic tablets are a type of controlled drug delivery system which uses differences in osmotic pressure to delivery drug. Our group has established a tablet manufacturing facility to manufacture and coat tablets. The student is expected to perform experiments to measure the drug dissolution in-vitro and extract its dependence on the the tablet's physical and chemical properties.
