Analysis of discrete Boltzmann equation

Fluid dynamical equations can be mimicked by simple collision and advection of particles obeying symmetry rules. The extent of applicability of these rules is often examined with the help of multi-scale expansions that may or may not employ a small explicit parameter. There are open questions about the equivalence of these expansions. In this work, we address this issue for simple systems.
