Jitendra Paliya

Hello, my name is Jitendra Paliya. I have completed B. Tech in chemical engineering from the National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT). I am pursuing my master’s in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
My master’s thesis project focuses on Spontaneous lane formation in collectives of active agents
About my MTech Project:
The project aims to use multi-agent models and reinforcement learning algorithms to understand how active agents (pedestrians, cars, active colloids, etc) spontaneously organize as they move in dense groups or crowded environments. This work has relevance for understanding the dynamics of crowds, or traffic flow. The big goal of such work is to identify strategies to reduce congestion, improve safety, and enhance the driving experience for everyone on the road.
