Detection of model plant mismatch in advanced process controllers (Project jointly with Yokogawa)

This project will be on MATLAB and will involve ML approaches to detect mismatch and identify opportunities for improving closed loop control. The project will involve using extensive data from the field and develop methods for detection and re-identification of the dynamics for improved control. A strong mathematical ground and exposure to advanced process control and ML would be useful and can be developed through coursework.
