Understanding electroporation using simulations

The project will involve coding the Krasswaska model for electroporation, which is a reduced order model, as well as the full model equations for electroporation in COMSOL multiphysics. The codes will then be used to estimate uptake and loss of dyes and nanoparticles using pulsed electric fields applied to Giant vesicles, and understanding the effect of parameters such as pulse strength, width, frequency, number of pulses, and pulse shapes.
