We are happy to invite you to the Monthly Lecture Series of the Indian Aerosol Science and Technology Association (IASTA).The Inaugural Lecture of this series will be delivered by Prof. Y. S. Mayya, Adjunct Professor, IIT Bombay.
Prof. Y. S. Mayya, a founding Aerosol Scientist in India, studies nucleation, aerosol charging, charge assisted coagulation and aerosol spray drying, with diverse applications in radiation safety, air pollution control and drug nanoparticle synthesis. He has authored numerous publications and mentored generations of aerosol scientists during his long career at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and Adjunct Professorship at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. In this Inaugural Lecture, Prof. Y.S. Mayya will offer historical perspectives on the emergence of aerosol science and technology with focus on future directions.
