Externally forced fluid-particle suspensions

The rheological properties of suspensions are important in designing and processing in many industries (e.g., suspension coating and slurry transport, chemical process industries), biological processes and in nature. Some of the previous studies have shown some chaotic rheological behaviors at macro level which are related to the chaotic dynamical behavior at the micro level at very low Reynolds number. Here we aim to study the temporal behavior of suspension containing spherical and non-spherical particles at finite Reynolds number using lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM).
