PI

Sudarshan Vijay is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Bombay. His research focuses on developing computational tools for atomic-scale modeling of electrochemical reactions. Prior to starting at IIT Bombay, Sudarshan was a Research Engineer and Developer with the Vienna ab-initio Simulation Package (VASP), where he work on advancing computational tools for materials science. He was a postdoctoral researcher in Materials Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Sudarshan obtained his PhD in Physics from the Technical University of Denmark, an MSc in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a BE in Chemical Engineering from BITS Pilani.
