The Laboratory for Electrochemical Energy Systems (LEES)The Laboratory for Electrochemical Energy Systems (LEES) is involved in the development and characterization of next-generation materials, interfaces and reactor systems that are vital components to the adoption of renewable and decarbonized energy landscape scenario. Curiosity and application driven group devoted to the development and understanding of electrocatalysis, charge transfer at electrode/electrolyte interfaces, electrochemical reactor design. Our immediate interests are in electrochemical energy systems such as fuel cells, electrolyzers, redox-flow and desalination batteries. We are located at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
Publications from the group can be found here.
