The research work of Prof. Jason Picardo and his student Dr. Swarnaditya Hazra on aerosol transport in mucus-lined airways has been selected for the Prof. R. Kumar Award for Innovative Modelling in Chemical Engineering 2026.
The award recognizes their research contributions to the modelling of aerosol transport and airway dynamics. As part of the award, Prof. Jason has been invited to deliver the Third Prof. R. Kumar Award Lecture at the Prof. R. Kumar Commemoration Day, to be held at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.
