We are pleased to announce that the work of  Prof. Supreet Saini and Pavithra Venkatraman, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay, has been selected for the Prof. R. Kumar Modelling Award 2025, conferred by the Department of Chemical Engineering, IISc Bangalore.

The award-winning research, titled “Ecological disruptive selection acting on quantitative loci can drive sympatric speciation”, was published in Systems Biology and Applications (link to article).

This recognition marks the second award for their work and highlights the group’s contributions to advancing modelling approaches in systems biology.
