The Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay, is pleased to announce the 64th Department Degree Award Function 2026, celebrating the academic achievements of students who have successfully completed the requirements for the award of their Ph.D., Dual Degree, M.Tech., B.Tech., and BS degrees.
The Department Degree Award Function (DDAF) will be held on Sunday, 23 August 2026, at 9:45 a.m. sharp at LA002, Lecture Hall Complex, IIT Bombay.
We are honoured to welcome Dr. Ashish Lele, Director, National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune, as the Chief Guest for the occasion.
Dr. Ashish Lele is a distinguished chemical engineer and rheologist who has been associated with the National Chemical Laboratory since 1993. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Delaware and is widely recognised for his research on the micro- and meso-structure of polymers.
The Department extends its heartiest congratulations to all graduating students and looks forward to celebrating this significant milestone with them, their families, faculty members, and the Institute community.
