Research title:- Synthesizing Explicit Model Predictive Control Algorithms

 Point location problem is the most critical step in EMPC execution as its complexity mainly influences the hardware requirements in fast sampling applications. In order to reduce the computational time in EMPC efficient algorithms are required to solve the point location problem. This motivation of reducing the time taken in EMPC execution and to carry control in fast dynamic systems has led us to attempt to develop an algorithm for solving point location problem. The current research is on developing an algorithm using linear discriminant approach along with search tree implementation to develop an algorithm.
