Thermal fluctuations of vesicles

Thermal fluctuations of vesicles:
Vesicles are made up of 2d membranes enclosing fluid inside and dispersed
in another liquid. They show strong thermal fluctuations which are
dependent upon the properties of the membrane. The studies are motivation
to explain flickering in RBCs. The seminar topic would cover the theories
for thermal fluctuations and the details of flicker spectroscopy.
