Apoorva Bademi

At Biosystems engineering lab, I am working on simulation of flux distribution through the central carbon pathway of the micro-algal strains under various seasonal conditions using Isotopic Non-Stationary 13C Metabolic Flux Analysis. I am analysing the growth profile in microalgae to study their response to diurnal and seasonal changes. I am also working on construction and validation of Genome Scale Metabolic Model and strategies for improving production of algal biomass and desired products.
