Open Positions

Postdoctoral Researchers:

1. Mathematical modeling and numerical simulation of electrochemical energy storage and conversion devices such as Li-ion battery, fuel cells, and electrolyzers. The focus will be on modeling the impedance response of such systems.

2. Quantifying battery electrode properties using EIS: Highly competent postdoc required who has expertise in making Li-ion coin cells and has extensive experience in handling glove box, potentiostat. Familiarity with EIS will be useful.

Ph.D. Positions:

1. Quantifying transport resistance inhomogeneity of a porous electrode for li-ion battery applications: design of porous electrode characterization tool using impedance spectroscopy

2. Modeling simulation and optimization of the lithium-ion battery: the interplay of fast charging and capacity fade

Short term projects: For B.tech students.
