R&D Projects

• Currently (2008 - ) I am working on “Aerosol synthesis of solid lipid nanoparticles with controlled properties for drug delivery” under guidance of Prof. Chandra Venkataraman.

   

  This work aims to understand control of properties of nanoparticles through the manipulation of process variables, like  vapor pressure of precursor solvents and time-temperature history in low temperature aerosol reactors (LoTARs). The insights gained will be used for synthesis of solid lipid nanoparticles containing drugs, like anticancer drug, Paclitaxel, for prospective use in injection and inhalation therapy.
