DNA Speedvac.JPGThis particular centrifuge can be used for vaccum drying and purification of nucleic acids and proteins from aqueous and non-aqueous solvents. It has four heating levels – 30, 45, 60°C and ambient. Vaccum pumps provide a vaccum of less than 10mbar. This is present to gently concentrate the sample without any loss of sample. There are 48 position fixed angle rotor for 1.5/2 ml microcentrifuge tubes. These rotors have fast deceleration.
