NI hardware is the device from National instruments, model cFP-2210. It is used as programmable automation controller for reactors and fermentors. It is also applicable for monitoring, embedded control and distributed input-output applications.This hardware can be used for advanced signal processing, real time simulation algorithms, PID control loops and motion control.
This controller features 400 MHz freescale MPC5200 real time processor, 256 MB DRAM memory and 128MB internal storage. The hardware cFP-2210 has 10/100BASE-T Ethernet port and two serial ports, that can conduct communication with other intelligent controllers and devices. It also easily integrates with existing programmable logic controller (PLC) systems.
