Alumni and friends of Professor Khilar have launched an initiative to institute an annual "Professor Kartic C. Khilar Distinguished Fellowship" in the Chemical Engineering Department, IIT Bombay. This is to be funded by a corpus of about Rs 45,00,000 (about 100,000 USD). This is an invitation to contribute to the endowment for the establishment of this memorial fellowship. read more »

PhD Qualifiers
Syllabus for PhD Qualifier Exam

Students joining the PhD program in Chemical Engineering are required to take qualifiers in four subjects. These will be held twice every year (June and December) and students have to clear them within the first year of joining for confirmation of PhD registration. Every student will be allowed two attempts to pass the qualifiers. read more »
