Our beloved Prof. Kartic Khilar, who was till very recently with our department, passed away in his Gandhinagar residence on 13 November 2009. The department and the institute are deeply mourning this sudden death.

Prof. Khilar had a sudden cardiac arrest. Our heartfelt condolences are with his family. May his soul rest in peace. We invite anyone associated with him to pay tributes in this Obituary Page for Prof Khilar.
