The project involves numerical implementation of the Fourier and
Legendre Polynomial based method for Brownian dynamics. The method is
apt for simulating membranes and vesicles. The project would involve
coding in Fortran numerical solution to Brownian dynamic equations.
Standard analytical results would be verified followed by extension
of the algorithm to solve more realistic problems like thermal
fluctuations of vesicles near planar surface etc.? The code would
then be extended to solve problems of technological interest like
adhesion control and electroporation.
